Great replacement for an older Shimano gearshift, order the matching SRAM front derailleur at the same time

SRAM shift levers with matching SRAM 9-speed front derailleurs work great as a replacement for my old Shimano gears. Cassette, 3-fold Umwefer and chain can still be used. Mixing the SRAM shift levers with Shimano 9-speed derailleurs does not fit. I like SRAM much better than the old gearshift in terms of lever travel and shift feel. Why convert 1 * 12 and replace even more parts such as cassette and chainring when 3 * 9 has achieved such great quality?
