SRAM XX1 Eagle Chain 12-speed rainbow (rainbow)

The strongest system is a chain with no weak links. Eagle chain links have a smooth radius, with no sharp edges or chamfers, which yield a significant reduction in noise, friction and wear. This design also allows for a flatter plate, which means more consistent chain riveting and greater overall strength.

And it’s also the biggest contributor to the ultra-smooth, precise, durable and quiet performance found in the 10-50 tooth cassette and X-SYNC 2 chainrings. Installation is made easy with a dedicated 12-speed Eagle quick link.

HARD CHROME
The SRAM HARD CHROME chain has a four times higher (wear) strength than other SRAM chains. This is due to the new machining process for the inner links and rollers. The push-pin strength and the overall strength correspond to the current SRAM chains. The HARD CHROME chain lasts longer and is extremely stable.

POWERLOCK
SRAM Chain Engineers have developed PowerLock as a tool-free, safe and constant way to connect their chains. Although PL does not require any special tools for assembly, each PowerLock can only be used once due to the narrow tolerance range of a 10 and 11-speed drive.

Super nice chain. Easy to install, the arrows on the master link make it easier to know which way to mount it. Saves about 9g from my previous SRAM chain that was original on my Nukeproof Mega Pro 2021. The Xx1 chain is strong and can handle a lot, I weigh about 95kg and ride a lot of Trial with my full suspension. Managed to buy the chain on sale, somewhat expensive but worth the money once you get it!

The best chain I have ever used. Mechanically speaking, it makes the gear shift work stably and smoothly. It takes a long time before it is stretched and needs to be replaced. Obviously works perfectly with SRAM XG-1299 cassette but otherwise works well with other compatible cassettes. Not the cheapest chain, but if you want 'extra everything', this is the chain you should buy!
