To mount it on my E3 Taillight (on a Cube Nuroad Race FE with Acid luggage rack) I had to turn the bracket, otherwise the cable would not have fit. The thread in the reflector broke off, although I was very careful. A slightly thicker replacement screw solved the problem. The metal bracket, on the other hand, is very robust.
