inedible
Inedible
Translated from Finnish To the original

Last summer I bought four (4) packs of these trekking biscuits and the content of all four of them was inedible. My first impression when opening the first pack was the smell that reminded me of a woodwork room and motor oil. The taste was similar, very wooden. First I foolishly thought they were supposed to smell and taste like that because of preservatives (I am new to outdoor food, Allright?) But right after I felt something wasn't right. One of the four packs did, however, have a slightly less appalling taste and smell, and with it I could almost imagine what these biscuits were probably supposed to taste like. What a shame because these biscuits really could have had potential. I liked the shape and solidity of them. Square, easy to pack, hard enough not to crumble that easily but still soft enough for easy chewing, a hint of a good taste (in one of four packs), a good price, and so on. Something must have gone wrong with either of the raw materials used or with the production of these packs. Sadly, because of my experience with these biscuits, I can't recommend them.

Out of 3 packs with identical shelf life, 2 were inedible. Smell of machine oil or similar, taste bitter, then flare up etc. They should check their production line once. Not recommendable. Each shortbread with better quality control.

Von 3 Packungen mit identischem Haltbarkeitsdatum waren 2 ungenießbar. Geruch nach Maschinenöl o.ä., Geschmack bitter, danach aufstoßen etc. Die sollten einmal ihre Produktionsstrecke überprüfen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Jeder Butterkeks mit besserer Qualitätskontrolle.
