Running socks - from short to warm to compression

The right socks play a decisive role in how well your feet feel on longer runs. Even the best choice of shoes will feel less than stellar with poorly-fitting cotton socks. Performance apparel manufacturers like Asics, Falke or X-Bionic are dedicated to sports socks in all lengths with a scientific approach. The combination of breathable materials, minimal chafing and a much more precise fit than with everyday socks are the most important ingredients for a good running sock. As a rule, better running socks usually offer left and right feet. Socks with merino wool content are great for cooler days. Very-high-cut and tight compression socks are also said to support the blood circulation and have advantages for regeneration.
