Customer opinions
Johann
Terribly loud
Translated from the German
To the original
The pads squeak even after careful braking in combination with my SRAM disc (Red HRD). As soon as the brake system gets warm due to some braking, the pads are whisper-quiet. After a short time, however, the system has cooled down again, so that all road users are attracting attention.
After a change back to the unfortunately outrageously expensive original coverings of SRAM the brake is pleasantly quiet again.
Positive:
- Braking power sufficiently available (no difference to the original SRAM)
- The car driver 3 blocks further hears that a dying elephant is approaching the intersection and does not overlook the cyclist
Negative:
- hearing damage
- frustration and doubts about one's own abilities in case of failed attempts at braking
