A small effective change

Used on a basic Sram S600 transmission in 42/32/22, I switched to 48/32/22, which allows me to gain around 7km / h when I am on the 48-11. No problem with the derailleur adjustment (which requires a slight change compared to the 42).
The large gap between the 32 and the 48 requires lowering a few gears when going from one chainring to another so as not to mark a too large difference but otherwise it is an effective way to transform a classic mountain bike into a tool for move quickly. It is ideal for comuter use. To be completed with the right pair of tires to make the whole road-style (I opted for the Schwalbe Marathon Suprem).
