Product description
Unior Inner Wire Pliers with Safety Lock
The Bowden cable collet is required for adjustment work on brake and shifting cables. It enables easier and faster work without additional effort. Only a thumb pressure is required to open the pliers. With one hand you can now adjust the tension on the cable with the Bowden cable collet while you can adjust the locking screw with the other hand.

Good, nice tool!

This is a nice and well thought out product, smaller in size than one might expect, but perfectly dimensioned for the task.
I have not tested Park Tool, nor Hozan (the most robust, as it seems, but no locking mechanism), IceToolz or others.
The Unior, on the other hand, has been tested on the web by the cycle enthusiast who has deemed it to be the nicest tool of this kind to work with.
Note that on this one, unlike Park Tools and others (except Hozan, which is the same as Unior in this regard) the handle is twisted the right way, as it should be, which is to me a huge plus.
It is also double dipped in thin plastic, with good feel at the handle. The locking mechanism does its job rather seamlessly; see the video on youtube on how it is used.
The grip on the wire is such that it leaves no fraying or damage.
Unior is a producer that has a very long tradition of developing and producing quality tools, and it shows here as well.
