VAUDE Aqua Back Pannier icicle (icicle)
Off to the big, wide world! The waterproof rear wheel bags are made of robust, PVC-free tarpaulin material in a climate-neutral way at the German Vaude location near Lake Constance and would love to go on a long journey with you. They can be adjusted to individual sizes by the wrap-around closure and can be closed absolutely tight. A simple inside pocket ensures clarity.
The panniers are attached to the rear carrier with the QMR 2.0 system and stable back plate on the right and left side, are adjustable with easy-to-use hand wheels and can be removed quickly and easily. With a bike lock they can be locked directly to the QMR hook.

Very well made spacious bags. I can't say anything about durability yet. In a double pack, the bags were cheaper than many others. The closure and the lashing straps that dangle when the bags are empty are better solved than the competition. The solid back is also a good solution, as it protects the frame and circuitry when it is installed low. One point is deducted because the handling is a bit “racky”, at least in cold temperatures. But that may change as it gets warmer.
