The Vermont Chester in a matt black design is a 26" youth bike for daily use and is just as convincing on the way to school as it is when riding in the country. The robust and light aluminium frame, a consistent StVZO-compliant equipment with Shimano hub dynamo and 21-speed Shimano gears with maintenance-free bottom bracket and V-brakes make the Chester a reliable all-rounder all year round. The wide 26 inch Kenda tyres feel just as comfortable on the road as they do on field and forest tracks.

The bike arrived undamaged and very well packaged. If you know a little about "bicycle screws", assembly is very easy. But I believe that even inexperienced people can quickly assemble the bike.
Since the front wheel was not mounted (you can't do otherwise in the box), you had to adjust the brake pads. No problem and completely normal.
Everything else (gear shifter, rear brake) worked right away - that's really very good when you consider that the bike still has to be "finally assembled".
Then the saddle and the handlebars had to be adjusted to the body height and off we went.
One more note: the lighting is always on and cannot be switched off. This is not a shortcoming, but rather a good thing (and also the same with motorcycles - why not with bicycles as well).
Furthermore, thanks to the hub dynamo, you don't notice it either.
Easy to ride even with a height of 180cm and not too small.
Conclusion: Highly recommended!
