I have the second device. I drive around 15,000 km a year and almost every day, including ultra races. The adhesive from the display comes off almost exactly after two years. It starts at the bottom edge near the buttons. As soon as a drop of water penetrates the housing, it's over.
The device regularly hangs up after 24 hours. The restart is possible and the route is saved. However, it takes around 20-30 minutes to recharge for the last 300-400km, which is super annoying in a racing situation.
The navigation lags about 20m behind. You have to drive with foresight and take this to heart, then you can deal with it.
Updates are tedious, they ONLY work if the device AND the cell phone are on the same WiFi. Maps can only be updated via WiFi. Hotspot with your own cell phone theoretically, but not practically possible. Apparently it has to be a separate WiFi.
Memory in this variant is moderately small. If I have AT, CH, DE, IT and three FR departments on it, I can't get IT anymore.
Otherwise stable part, display is relatively primitive, which uses little battery and is always reliably visible in the blazing Mediterranean sun as well as on harsh alpine nights.
The main reason for the purchase was the battery life of over 24 hours.
