Wahoo RPM Cadence Transmitter Sensor

The Wahoo RPM cadence sensor is your sleek little solution for measuring cycling cadence data. It's wireless, magnet-less, lightweight, and easily mounts to your bike's crank arm or to your shoe. Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ dual band technology allows you to connect to and display data on both smartphones and GPS bike computers. Collecting cadence data has never been this easy.

Dual Band Technology
Both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart capabilities allow for a wireless connection to both smartphones and bike computers.

Two Bike Mount Options
(1) mount with double sided 3M tape, or (2) use the silicone sleeve and mount with zip ties.

Excellent, but beware of possible compatibility problems

I chose this over the Garmin cadence sensor as it offers a much neater 3M sticker mount option. Mounted easily and has stayed in place on gravel rides. I had no problems connecting the sensor to my Edge 530 or the app, but the Edge refused to read the cadence (ant or ble) even though the app was showing the correct cadence. I tried multiple re-pairing but nothing worked. I contacted Garmin support, who replied after several days saying they don't support 3rd party devices. They sell the Edge range as being ant+/bluetooth compatible so they are lying somewhere. Anyway, the Edge started reading the sensor for no obvious reason and has been fine since.
