the stand itself is quite practical and light, although the second also has its disadvantages. I screwed 2 of them onto a plate myself and now the bikes are safely in the back of the bus (the outside rack doesn't work because of the garage) it still needs a belt over it, but the bikes stand without the rims getting damaged or the bikes crashing ... actually exactly what I expected.
