Simple and does not bother

The Zefal VR splash guard Croozer Road mudguard was able to mount easily and quickly on the frame in a few seconds. Moves a bit when driving, but it remains easy to adjust.
Good against stones and also good for wet roads for Vélopendler (unless you live in a rain town like London or Stockholm).

Zefal VR Spritzschutz Croozer Road
Protective cover as a down tube protection
Translated from the German
To the original
The Zefal VR splash guard Croozer Road mudguard is used as a down tube fender to prevent the stone from falling on the frame. The fender could easily be mounted on the frame and offers thanks to its wide shape a very good protection against stones.

Apron for arms

The Zefal VR is a very wide fender that holds well on the down tube and reliably protects the lower legs. Unfortunately, on the other hand, when the humidity is high, running water splashes out on the sides of the mudguard and over the shoes. In addition, the mudguard of course does not protect up front, with the result that splashing sprayed one over the handlebars in the face. Wet trouser legs are, as I said, nevertheless reliably prevented. With another bike geometry (I race bike) or a toe on the toes, there may be no problem with fully worn shoes. It remains to add that the fender is no feast for the eyes. The lettering looks like a Holland bicycle and the matt gray at the bottom looks unsportsmanlike. In addition, the assembly is difficult with a bulky down tube, because the rubber collars can not stretch very far.
