Most bicycles have screws on the down tube and seat tube for attaching bottle cages. Within these cages, you can carry drinking bottles between 0.4 and 1.0 litres in size, ready to hand. Nearly all bottle cages work on all bikes and with all bottles, one exception being bottle holders with a side opening. Where space for a drinking bottle and cage is limited, for example on some mountain bikes, a cage with side access is the best solution. If you mainly use plastic bottles, any cage material is ok; with metal drinking bottles, we recommend plastic bottle holders.
