Children's bikes from 12” to 18”: The first bicycle
When your child has outgrown their balance bike, it is time for their very first proper bicycle. From 3 and up, children can be introduced to bikes with pedals and brake pedals. Kids’ models from 12” to 18” not only
look like mini versions of adult bikes, but also offer current wheel technology in child-friendly formats and designs. Several children's bike manufacturers offer their smaller bicycles with additional supporting wheels. Experience shows that children who have previously ridden balance bikes soon lose the need for stabilisers.
