Back In 1947, Elfriede Löffler founded LÖFFLER in Reid, Austria, which initially produced pantyhose and knitwear for women. In 1973 his company was taken over by ski producer FISCHER and their successful future as a sportswear manufacturer began. Whether it's for biking, Nordic sports, ski touring, running or mountain sports - LÖFFLER produces responsible, innovative, high-quality and functional clothing for endurance athletes. The brand is particularly proud that all of its products are produced in the heart of Europe - from initial design to final manufacture.
LÖFFLER combines highly elastic materials with proven hotBOND® technology via ultrasonic welding. What's new is that these connection points reflect light using a special processing technique. For trousers and jerseys this means no seams that squeeze or rub, plus better safety through 360 degree visibility. The connections are extremely tear-resistant, as elastic as the material itself and ultra-flat. The reflection points only show their full effect under a light beam, otherwise they are very discreet. hotBOND® reflective products are produced exclusively at LÖFFLER's headquarters in Ried im Innkreis (Upper Austria).
LÖFFLER's transtex® technology was developed as early as 1978, constantly improved and still manufactured in its own knitting mill in Ried im Innkreis (Upper Austria). transtex® is made of polypropylene - combined with other materials such as cotton or merino wool depending on the quality - and transports sweat better than any other material. It also dries quickly and is odourless. LÖFFLER offers transtex® underwear in various models for every application and every temperature.
