27.5" (650B) hardtail mountain bikes
A 27.5" hardtail is for many the perfect mountain bike. The smaller wheels offer a great compromise between manoeuvrability and traction and are slightly more agile and quicker to accelerate than their 29" counterparts. The suspension fork will take the
sting out of the trail, while not weigh the bike down as much as with additional rear suspension. An increasing number of manufacturers offer their smaller frame sizes with 27.5" wheels and the larger versions with 29" wheels to ensure a more personalised fit for each rider.
