Product description
FIXIE Inc. Backspin Zehus black matt (black matt)
Due to bottlenecks and delays in worldwide supply chains, the manufacturer may have replaced individual components from the original specification with equivalent or even higher quality components. Therefore, the bicycle delivered may deviate from the images in certain cases.
Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them
The Fixie Inc. backspin demonstrates what modern e-mobility can look like in the city. With the clean look of a singlespeed bike and an electric motor completely hidden inside the rear hub, it will turn heads, amaze you and have fun on your way through the city.
Singlespeed
There is no bells and whistles on this wheel: Here you will find only the essentials you need to get from A to B. This doesn't just look better than wheels overloaded with features and attachments, it also makes your life easier. The Fixie Inc. backspin accompanies you through thick and thin without any breakdowns because you don't need too complex components.
Drive
If you didn't know, you wouldn't recognize the Zehus drive as such. The engine, battery and controls are completely housed in the rear hub, and charging is done via a hidden connector in the axle. The drive has a maximum power rating of 250 watts up to a speed of 25 km/h according to legal regulations. The Zehus app allows you to conveniently control all drive parameters.
Backspin
The characteristic feature of this wheel is the backspin. When you step back three times, you activate the drive's charging mode, which allows you to charge the battery while riding. For example, you can enjoy uphill pedal support and recharge the battery as you roll downhill.
Geometry
What mountain bikes have been demonstrating for years is also slowly gaining ground on bikes with narrower tyres. The Fixie Inc. backspin has a longer top tube in combination with a shorter stem for more stability at higher speeds. The manoeuvrability of the wheel is maintained by the short stem. So you enjoy a high running smoothness, but can also circulate without great effort around tight curves.
Attachments
In addition to good style, attention was naturally also paid to functionality. The fork and frame have special pivots to which light and elegant mudguards are attached. So you stay dry when it rains and can enjoy the minimalist look of your bike in no time at all.

Range
Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
