To the original
Bought to convert from square taper crank on a White AX. Initially it worked very well and I was very satisfied.
The problems started after 3-4 weeks. The shaft is a few millimeters thicker than hollowtech II should be. This causes the crank bearing to make noise and it becomes sluggish to pedal. I have tried to fix it myself and had the bike in LBS, they say the same. The shoulder is too thick. When I got the bike back I ground the axle down to 23.90. Then it was like new.. for 2-3 weeks, then the problems returned.
The price is okay, but for the problems you have to endure, I would never buy this again. Add SEK 200 more to a deore crank and a crank bearing instead of buying this rubbish.
In the end I put the sqare taper crank back on to be able to use the bike normally.
The only reason it gets one star is so I could do a review. It gets 0/5! SCRAP!
