I can understand the other reviews: As long as there is no problem, they work perfectly, have adequate braking performance, do not wear out quickly and do not squeak.
I've been using these surfaces for 5 years now and ride 10km a day during the week with a 120m elevation gain, concentrated in a decent climb. Recently, on a steep downhill stretch, a brake pad came off and I was no longer able to brake on a busy road. Thank God nothing happened. A little later this happened to me again. This time on the rear brake, not quite as dangerous but still bad.
