Maxxis Detonator Clincher Tyre 26"

The Detonator 1.25 is a slim, very light MTB road tyre for training or fast city use. Designed for an air pressure of up to 6.8 bar for extremely low rolling resistance and real road feel on the bike, the Detonator 1.50 is a stable slick tyre.

Technologies

Wire bead core
The bead core must hold the tyre securely on the rim. High-quality wire is very well suited for this - the disadvantages are: Not foldable and slightly heavier (approx. 50g more).

The Maxxis Performance Compound is Maxxis all-round compound. This rubber compound also benefits from the development competence of the world's largest bicycle tyre manufacturer and impresses in its daily use with a very long service life, grip and maximum reliability.
