Maxxis Minion DHF Clincher Tyre 26" Maxx Pro

Probably the most driven and in recent years most successful downhill tyre in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as bevelled studs for low rolling resistance and smooth running with longitudinally carved studs for more grip on the edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behaviour. It is the reference for fast tracks, from light freeride to hard downhill.

Wire bead core
The bead core must hold the tyre securely on the rim. High-quality wire is very well suited for this - the disadvantages are: Not foldable and somewhat heavier (approx. 50g more).

MaxxPro
MaxxPro Compound is the first tyre compound for bicycle tyres in which the components have been extremely finely ground. This compound is optimal from all-mountain to downhill: more grip, good damping properties, long service life, low rolling resistance. And no lug breaks - a success of the exclusive Maxxis MaxxPro technology.
