The GOLDEN GATE ATR is the perfect shoe for medium to long distance runs on mixed terrain, including off-road as well as paved surfaces. This model is well suited to athletes of any weight and experience level, who are looking for a reliable and comfortable shoe for their daily training. An extremely versatile road-to-trail transitional shoe in the world of trail running. This shoe has a very precise fit, we recommend one size up from the usual SCARPA sizes if you want a comfortable fit.

GORE-TEX
Garments equipped with Gore-Tex materials offer durable waterproofing and windproofing combined with optimized breathability - for maximum protection and comfort. Different textiles and construction methods include laminates with and without insulation, 2-layer and 3-layer.
Neutral
The 'neutral shoe' or 'cushioning shoe' is equipped without pronation support (the lateral support of the foot). These shoes are therefore suitable for runners who have regular rolling behaviour, i.e. who do not roll their feet inwards or outwards when running. The neutral shoe can be used for competition, for fast training and for long endurance sessions. The damping may vary depending on the application: in order to achieve more direct ground contact during competition, it is advisable to use only a slightly cushioned shoe. When training on hard surfaces or for long distances, more cushioned shoes offer better comfort and protect the joints.
