Shimano sets global benchmarks with the DEORE XT group when it comes to MTB shifting. The new gear levers are equipped with numerous innovations and optimisations.

This includes Instant Release technology, which allows you to shift faster. The cable is released directly when the lever is actuated. Another highlight is the multi-release technology, which allows two gear steps. Now you can change gears in both directions with the main or secondary lever. The 2-way release allows you to release the move by pressing with your thumb or dragging with your index finger. Here the rear derailleur adapts individually to your riding style. The advanced Vivid Index mechanism provides clear tactile feedback and precision. The levers for classic clamp mounting are also available in two I-Spec versions.

I-Spec II is an integrated mounting system for brake and gear levers. It requires only one clamp and leads to a weight saving of around ten grams. The fine adjustment possibilities in horizontal direction also allow an individually and optimally adapted setup.
