Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Shimano MT401 brake lever:
The customized brake lever for MTB beginners has a sleek design adopted from MTB racing components. It is made of anodized light alloy and for 2-finger. The braking performance is adapted for MTB beginners and has a comfortable reachable grip for small hands. He promises a durable braking performance, easy / fast / clean installation. The filled Shimano hydraulic mineral oil provides a balanced braking performance.
Reach Adjust
The brake lever is equipped with a reach adjustment. This allows the handle to adjust to the size of the rider's hand or riding style or personal preference.
Shimano MT420 brake caliper:
The Shimano BR-MT420 brake caliper provides high performance and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The 4-piston caliper ensures safety and control on downhill rides. In addition, it has 90% braking power compared to BR-MT520; 20% more braking power compared to the current 2-piston version BR-MT400 and 150% better wear resistance compared to the current 2-piston version BR-MT400.
ONE WAY BLEEDING
"ONE WAY BLEEDING" was developed to quickly and easily prevent air from being in the hydraulic system. Shimano has optimized the brake fluid line path throughout the system to prevent air bubbles from becoming trapped in the system. The line path of the mineral oil in only one direction, together with the funnel for filling, allows clean, trouble-free bleeding.
