BOB Yak Trailer MTB 26"

Robust, the BOB trailer consists of a light steel frame reinforced at the joints, a cradle, also in steel, with a "mesh" bottom, and a 16" wheel. The BOB waterproof bag is supplied with the trailer, in a prominent yellow colour and with a capacity of 94L.

The BOB trailer is attached to the rear wheel axle of your bike with a special quick release, delivered with the trailer. This is a standard 135 mm quick release axle. But if you want to attach the BOB trailer to a bike that has a larger axle, you can get a 140mm or 145mm quick release available as an add-on product.

The attachment system is very simple: the drawbar (the part that connects the trailer to the bike) of the trailer rests on 2 notches machined on each side of the quick release (like a bicycle spike on the front wheel axle). A pin underneath prevents the drawbar from moving up and out of its housing. As the drawbar is simply placed on top, it can slide around the quick release, creating a horizontal axis between the bike and the trailer.
