Fit at walking pace - following the successful launch of the Ergon Fitness saddle series, Ergon is expanding its range with the new entry-level model SFC3 Gel with comfort foam.

The ergonomic fitness saddle with extra comfort provided by gel pads in the seating area - developed for fitness bikes, e-bikes or sporty touring bikes. Scientifically and ergonomically tested for effective relief of the perineal and genital area. Numbness is reduced and riding comfort is increased. The extra large seat ing area effectively reduces pressure peaks and distributes the pressure optimally to the seat bones and pubic bones - even without cycling shorts

Anatomical Gel Pads
When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the small saddle surface. To prevent discomfort in the sitting area, the pressure is distributed as evenly as possible over the sit bones. Gel pads are inlayed in specific ergonomic positions to help alleviate pressures under these bony structures.

Optimized Relief Channel
The large anatomical relief channel in the middle prevents pressure on sensitive soft tissue areas. To prevent discomfort, the shape and position of the channel has been optimized with the help of many test riders and state-of-the-art pressure measurement techniques. In addition, gel pads integrated into the seat help to distribute the weight of the body while seated as well as continual support through the full, natural movements of the body while pedaling.

The right size
The shape and size of the saddle must match the sit bone width of the rider to maximize both comfort and overall enjoyment while riding. The pelvis is V-shaped and the saddle must offer the sit bones a large contact surface while being able to support the demands of different sitting positions. The more forward and aggressive the rider sits, the further forward the sit bones contact the saddle. Two saddle sizes are offered to match the rider’s unique sit bone width.

Comfortable and durable
The padding of the SFC3 is made of orthopedic comfort foam, which Ergon has designed for fitness bikes, e-bikes and touring bikes. The foam is supportive, soft, but does not collapse. In addition to the foam, specific gel pad inlays offer even more comfort under the sitting area. With this saddle, it is not absolutely necessary to wear cycling shorts. The saddle is covered with robust microfiber to prevent abrasions and maintain the durability of the saddle.
