Lapierre Edge 2.7 – an entry-level mountain bike with extra safety
The Lapierre Edge 2.7 is a bike that can do everything you can imagine at a fair price. It’s robust enough to regularly ride narrow trails in the forest. At the same time, it’s comfortable enough for leisurely day rides, whether on forest roads or the tarmac, not least thanks to its suspension fork. And if you do get the travel bug, it offers you the option of attaching a rear luggage rack.
The bike’s frame is designed so that you can get off quickly and easily. This makes everyday life easier and gives you security on excursions when the terrain unexpectedly becomes more difficult than planned.
This bike takes the sting out of steep climbs, even at the end of a long day. With 21 gears, you always have another gear in reserve to keep going. And on the way down, low-maintenance hydraulic disc brakes bring you safely to a halt, even if it gets muddy. The Edge 2.7 – the complete package for beginners!
Note: The Edge 2.7 uses 27.5-inch wheels and is therefore suitable for smaller people up to approx. 1.75 metres. Taller people should go for the Edge 3.9 with 29-inch wheels.
