Triathlon attachments & handlebars

Dedicated triathlon bikes are usually equipped with one of the distinctive time trial or triathlon handlebars as standard. This is because the stretched-out position these bars allow, provides an enormous aerodynamic advantage, even compared to the lower handlebar position on a road bike, and at the same time relieves the support muscles on the upper body. As an aftermarket part, these triathlon attachments and matching handlebars are ideal for getting this aerodynamically favourable position on a conventional road bike. On the other hand, the variety of different shapes and lengths allows ergonomic optimizations to be made if standard triathlon handlebars do not suit you.
