It protects and protects and protects - the Twist is one of the best-selling sports glasses on the market. And not without reason: since its introduction, it has set standards in terms of wearing comfort, fit and design. Twist Zero was the name of the first model in 2005. Now the sports glasses are entering their fifth generation - and with the Twist Five HR S QVM+ they continue their own success story. The half frame version Twist Five HR S QVM+ is equipped with the high-end lens technology QuattroVarioflex. This gives it an enormous range of use and makes it an outstanding sports spectacle for every light and weather condition.
The lenses increase contrasts, filter out disturbing reflections and adjust the tint optimally to the light conditions (photochromatic). They cover the protection levels Cat. 1 to 3. Fogstop prevents fogging of the windscreen, and thanks to the hydrophobic coating, water and dirt roll off more easily. With the inclinable temples, the glasses can be individually adapted to the shape of the face. In the small version, they fit narrow faces perfectly. Thanks to the mirror coating, infrared rays are reflected, 100% UV protection is provided. The Twist Five HR S QVM+ is the perfect eyewear - for every weather, for every sport.
The polarizing filter in the Quattroflex discs, offers a maximum of function. Reflections and glare are effectively eliminated and contrasts are clearly emphasized. Quattroflex lenses are brighter than regular polarized lenses and are suitable for a wide range of applications from water sports to golf and winter sports.
Varioflex is a windscreen technology in which the tint of the windscreen automatically adapts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to light, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. If the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the pane becomes brighter again. This process takes place within seconds. The result: a pane for the most diverse lighting conditions.
Fogstop is a coating on the inside of the lenses. The coating is not smooth, but rough - on a microscopic level it is even "fissured". As a result, the drops have no possibility of forming a closed layer, i.e. fogging and thus obscuring vision. This would only happen if the moisture manages to fill the fissures with water. Before this happens, however, the deposited moisture has long since condensed and the view remains clear.
Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nanostructure on the pane that allows water to roll off. Dirt is also removed in the process. The pane is therefore not only clean, but also dries faster.
Mirror is a disc on which several layers of mirror are applied. They protect against extreme glare and infrared light. Mirror is not only the property of a highly functional pane, but also a style element.
