good adjustable cushioning
Translated from the French
To the original
I bought this suspension seatpost to cushion the irregularities of the terrain because I have back pain. The various springs provided make it possible to adapt the cushioning according to its weight. On first use it works fine. The cushioning is especially effective on medium or large bumps: potholes, speed bumps, cobblestones. To cushion the weaker reliefs I associated it with a spring gel saddle (metal springs and not elastomers) and then we are truly on an air cushion.
Pay attention to the diameter of the rod. Bikes all have different hole diameters, often smaller than the diameter of the suspension seatposts. There are adapters to increase the diameter but not to reduce it (my bike has a 2mm bottom hole so I have to change bikes to use this seat post).
