Well-designed jacket that is neither too cold nor too warm. Perfect for early spring or the high alpine passes. Windproof and water-repellent (tested in the rain). It is often criticized that the sizes are not correct. That's not true. Put on the required layers underneath, measure with the measuring tape and compare with the table ... then it fit me perfectly. More than satisfied!

A good jacket for the autumn and algae season.
The jacket holds water well even in heavy rain.
Loose sleeves allow for a wide operating temperature, for myself about 5-18 degrees, with the warmer I switch to a regular racing shirt, the colder to Castell’s Radoppia. I remove the sleeves at a temperature of less than 15 degrees. In practice, this is Castell’s legendary Gabba racing jacket with fastenable sleeves (the zipper on one sleeve is black, the other red, which depicts the detail of the design).
At temperatures below 10 degrees, the jacket is initially cold on the back. After a while, however, good. After all, the jacket is designed so that the front cannot get through, but the back breathes. This works in practice.
The fit of the jacket seems to speak. With a scaffolding backdrop, the jacket initially felt really tight on the chest, shoulders and upper arms. Only from the stomach it was appropriate. However, like all sportswear, this one adapted a few times and is now fully body-conforming to the upper body. As for the jacket, however, it should be noted that as the jacket itself reads, it is precisely “Foul Weather Race Equipment”. This is “Race Fit” in the purest sense of the word. It is not a general-purpose jacket for a relaxed ride, but a racing equipment that is meant to be completely in line with the body.

This is my second Castelli jacket. What I like most is the breathable properties that allow a wide temperature range. I use it from more or less 5 to 15 degrees. I am 1.79cm and 73 kg. Large fits me well.
