Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 SS Wind Jersey Men nickel gray

The impetus for the Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey came from Castelli's pros: they appreciated the Gabba but wanted a slightly thinner and less warm version. These criteria gave birth to the lighter and more breathable Perfetto Light.

With the fourth generation, Castelli have also changed the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey. And it has become a staple in their autumn and spring wardrobes because it is useful in so many situations, making it very difficult to define. On the one hand, it's a warmer waistcoat because it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 Vest, just with short sleeves. On the other hand, it is a less warm gabba. Or just a jersey with high wind protection in the front.

Whichever way you define it, you'll appreciate that it offers just the right amount of protection on cool days while remaining highly breathable. You feel warm and protected, but almost enjoy the lightweight feel and freedom of movement of a summer jersey.

On mild days it is worn as a jersey over a light baselayer, plus seamless sleeves. In cooler or changeable conditions it is worn over a jersey, with either Seamless or Nano Flex sleeves.

The "2" in the name refers to the update to the latest version, including a YKK Vislon 2-way zip for more adjustable ventilation. The reflective trim on the back is more visible, the back pockets offer more volume. And the back panel is slightly less elongated to reduce pack size.

Totally windproof yet maximally breathable for comfort in cool and windy weather. The lightweight membrane blocks wind and wicks sweat to the outside to minimise chill effects. In some GORE-TEX Infinium Windstopper products, an additional layer provides protection and insulation. The outer layer also has water-repellent properties.
