We attached the Tailgate Pad to our Ford F150. It fits perfectly there. Have now only transported 2 bicycles, the pad is designed for 6. The frame is secured with a Velcro strap between 2 stable elevations on the pad. However, this is only to keep the bike in position on the pad. In addition, please secure with lashing straps etc.
We have transported several hundred kilometers without the pad or bike slipping. Recommend it without hesitation
