Garmin Varia RCT716 Rearview Radar

With the StVZO-approved Varia RCT716e, you experience more safety in road traffic thanks to radar technology, integrated dashcam and rear light. The dashcam continuously records your cycling and in the event of an accident, this is detected and video clips before, during and after the event are automatically saved. In addition, the Varia RCT716 is equipped with the proven radar technology and a bright, StVZO-approved rear light. With just one Garmin Varia safety product, cyclists have the ability to be seen, automatically record crash footage and detect vehicles approaching from a distance of up to 140 metres. The Varia RCT716 connects seamlessly with compatible Garmin GPS bike computers or the Garmin Varia app on compatible smartphones to provide audible and visual warnings of vehicles approaching from behind as you ride.

The Garmin Varia app can display live video1 for camera orientation and transfer and playback saved recordings after the ride. Different camera modes can be selected to maximise battery life on long bike rides. The slim Varia RCT716 can be mounted without tools on round, aero or D-shape seatposts using a new bracket.
