Garmin Varia UT 800 Bike Lamp Urban Edition

Whether it's downhill at sunrise or on the summit in the moonlight, unexpected obstacles aren’t a safety risk during night-time trail rides with Garmin’s new Varia UT 800: a powerful helmet lamp with a luminosity of 800 lumen. The new light in Garmin’s Connected Bike family connects to compatible Garmin Edge bicycle computers and multisport watches via ANT+. All relevant settings, such as turning the light on and off, can be controlled remotely via the connected device.

Smarter vision
Smart features allow the Varia UT800 to be connected to compatible edge computers with light sensors. After pairing, the Varia UT800 bicycle lamp automatically adjusts the light intensity based on speed and tour profile, so you get more light as you go faster, while the battery is conserved at lower speeds. The adjustment to ambient light and battery capacity also takes place automatically. So you can be on the road longer.Press a button on your Edge computer or special remote control to turn the lights on or off, control brightness, and more.

With the Varia it’s easy to adjust the light intensity to the conditions. The Varia UT800 bicycle lamp has five light modes: Power (800 lumens), Standard (400 lumens), Eco (200 lumens), Night Flash Mode (100 to 300 lumens) and Day Flash Mode (more than 700 lumens). At full intensity, the light can be seen during the day from a distance of up to 1.6 kilometres.

Ready for cycling
The bicycle lamp is small and light. It can be fastened to the handlebars using the holder provided for this purpose. The smart lamp weighs less than 140 grams.
