IXS Trigger AM MIPS Helmet black

The IXS Trigger convinces as all-mountain and trail helmet. It offers all-round protection through the Inmold technology used, in which the helmet shell is directly connected to the absorbing EPS material. The double InMould process convinces by optimizing weight, ventilation and stability. The high number of ventilation openings and their arrangement pattern and integrated channels ensure high air circulation and good cooling. The 2-component adjustment unit with precision toothing called "ErgoFit UltraTM"" allows a comfortable and very precise adjustment in vertical and horizontal direction. It thus guarantees a particularly good fit and high wearing comfort. The three-stage adjustable visor allows easy placement of the goggle and the easy and one-handed fidlock magnetic closure completes the Trigger AM helmet. The entire helmet series meets the European safety standard EN178 as well as the American CPSC. The iXS Trigger AM helmet with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) additionally protects you from certain rotational forces during falls.

Ergo Fit Ultra
The Ergo Fit Ultra adjustment system allows micro-adjustment by means of a rotating wheel, which is easy to operate and adjust. The horizontally and vertically adjustable headband supports the optimal fit and fit of the helmet.

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System).
The MIPS fall protection system is a low-friction layer under the helmet padding that reduces the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an impact. This layer allows the head to move 10-15 mm relative to the helmet in all directions during a fall, redirecting energies and forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain. MIPS helmets are designed to protect the brain from an angled impact because angled falls create rotational forces that are transmitted to the brain and can lead to brain injury. InMolding
Inmolding is a technology to optimize the weight, ventilation and stability of the helmet. During the manufacturing process, the outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS material to form a single unit.
