Installing hydraulic hose fittings shouldn’t be done using a hammer. The delicate brass fittings in the end of a hydraulic hose can be easily crimped or not installed flush with the end of the hose. This results in potentially poor brake performance. The Needle Driver is a simple-to-use tool that secures the end of a hydraulic hose and allows for easy and gentle installation of both standard and Torx hose fittings.

With the included press-in tips, the device fits most systems. The insert is gently pressed into the line with the tip. The oil would be knocked out of the pipe if it was hammered in. Great tool

Have with the "Jagwire Needle Driver" the pin in a shortened Shimano SM-BH90 brake line "driven". Everything worked fine - I can only recommend the tool 👍.
The tool comes with a short (❗ and also German ❗ 😉) user manual. This is - for "beginners" like me - very helpful.
Pin processed, brake reassembled, vented - fits.
