Maxxis Ardent Race Folding Tyre 26x2.20" 3C MaxxSpeed TR EXO

The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between fast XC tire and trail tire. Its tread is medium high, the center lugs are tight but leave enough clearance for good self-cleaning and are beveled for lower rolling resistance. The side cleats are angled and offset, biting into the ground on curves. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-round use and on the trails.

Foldable bead core
also rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fiber hold the tires securely on the rim. Lower weight and easy transport due to small pack size are advantages.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure and thus have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tube, and where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires, because the bead is completely covered with a layer of rubber, like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful with all rims that comply with the standard dimensions, with the first inflation and with little fluid.

3C MaxxSpeed
Maxxis fastest 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed by the hard substructure and the fast compound in the middle of the tread on lowest rolling resistance, but offers with the grippy compound on the sides in addition superior grip in corners, even in the wet. Typical Maxxis is also the very long service life.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
