Maxxis Assegai Folding Tyre 27.5x2.60" WT EXO TR

Although it was not launched until the end of 2018, Greg Minaar's Signature tyre has already achieved many World Cup and Enduro World Series successes. Maxxis is offering the Assegai with its incredible grip from 2020 with three casing versions (EXO, EXO+ and DD) for your trail bike.

EXO PROTECTION
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. Therefore the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

DUALCOMPOUND
Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tyres.

WIDE TRAIL CASING
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get a too square shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 39 mm.
