Product description
Maxxis Minion DHF Folding Tyre 29x2.30" DD TR 3C MaxxTerra black (black)
Probably the most driven and in recent years most successful downhill tyre in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as bevelled studs for low rolling resistance and smooth running with longitudinally slotted studs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behaviour. It is the reference for fast tracks, from light freeride to hard downhill.
Double Down
Doubledown tyres are constructed like downhill tyres: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. Due to two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead they are much lighter than the downhill tyres, much more stable and robust than TR + EXO tyres and therefore ideal for hard Enduro courses.
3C MaxxTerra
The freeride version of the 3C tires. Much more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so that you can still drive uphill before the great descent, long life.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure and thus have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tubing, and where there is no tubing, the risk of puncture also decreases. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tyres, because the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer, like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that the tubeless mounting is successful on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions with the first inflation and with little liquid.
