Product description
Maxxis Minion DHF Folding Tyre 27.5x2.50" 3C MaxxGrip TR DD black (black)
Probably the most driven and in recent years most successful downhill tyre in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as bevelled studs for low rolling resistance and smooth running with longitudinally slotted studs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behaviour. It is the reference for fast tracks, from enduro to hard downhill. The Minion DHF is constantly updated. Now there are also versions with Maxxis TR (Tubeless Ready).
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you more traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. Like a real UST tubeless tyre, the bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer. This means that the tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions even with the first inflation and with little liquid.
Triple Compound
With Maxxis, the 3C running surface is formed from 3 different rubber compounds in one piece and is not subsequently joined together from two strips. This means that the treads can be moulded exactly to the requirements of the respective tyre model and the driving characteristics optimised.
3C MaxxGrip
Maxxis' most famous 3C downhill mix, which many of the best downhillers have trusted for years, is now called 3C MaxxGrip. 3C MaxxGrip offers the ultimate grip and cushioning for unparalleled downhill traction.
DoubleDown
DoubleDown tyres have two butyl reinforced carcass plies in the sidewall. Two 120 TPI plies and an aramid bead make them much more stable and robust than EXO tyres, making them ideal for tough courses.
