MET Roam MIPS Helmet matt black (matt black)

Exploring mountains and riding singletrack requires extra impact protection. The MET Roam has an increased coverage around the temple and occipital areas, without adding extra weight.

The injection-moulded plastic visor may be flexible, but it won’t act like a spring in event of a crash, or shake around during a ride. Offering three different positions and two side clips, the MET Roam is compatible with any goggles or glasses on the market.

The intelligently designed inner padding helps to stabilise the helmet on the head, without compromising the cooling effect of front-to-back airflow. The MIPS version adds significant protection against brain damage resulting of angled impacts.

Seems this is made for people with really round heads. My head shape is more oval with a slimmer forehead than what this helmet is made for. Despite that the helmet is really really comfortable. Compared to my poc tectal this is actually more comfortable, despite the fact that the POC suits my head shape better. It does look a bit big though, a lot of mass in the helmet. I use it for night riding when no one will notice… It is easy to strap the light to the head.
