The DRT5 from Oakley was developed, designed and tested by experienced mountain bikers and in close collaboration with the 3-time world champion in downhill racing Greg Minnaar. This helmet is absolutely reliable when it comes to safely master difficult descents.

Goggle parking position
The Oakley DRT5's rear hinged temple hooks provide space to safely stow goggles while riding or taking a break, and they allow air to circulate freely inside the helmet.

With its soft textile feel and highly elastic properties, the TX1 Lace System lays flat against the head for seamless eyewear compatibility.

BOA Fit System for helmets
Twist closure, rope, rope guidance are the hallmarks of the BOA Fit System. It is customized for each individual product and application, but always includes three essential components: a finely adjustable twist closure, a very strong but lightweight rope, and a low-friction rope guide. Each configuration is designed to optimize fit and provide precision, adaptability and control.

FS1 Cycling twist lock
Low profile design, maximum comfort. Our FS1 twist lock takes helmets to the next level. With its gradual adjustment for loosening and closing, this is precisely adjustable. The twist lock has a particularly good grip, so it can be used even with wet, greasy or sweaty hands.

TX1.1 rope
Lightweight and flexible. Ultra-thin TX1.1 rope is used in low-abrasion configurations for zone fitting that require high rope absorption, such as inner shoes, medical orthotics and helmets.

Sweat-absorbing silicone strip
Absorbs sweat and wicks it away from the eye, keeping your goggles streak-free.

Adjustable visor
Includes six detents with over 60° of total adjustment, so riders can easily stow their goggles in a forward-facing position.

Mips Integration
The MIPS Brain Protection System is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet, designed to minimize rotational movement on the head.
