Product description
Orbea Rise H10 baobab brown/cosmic brown (baobab brown/cosmic brown)
Due to bottlenecks and delays in worldwide supply chains, the manufacturer may have replaced individual components from the original specification with equivalent or even higher quality components. Therefore, the bicycle delivered may deviate from the images in certain cases.
Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them
The Orbea Rise is designed to take you on adventures and let you ride with a new intensity The Rise gives you that special feeling where less "E" means more "bike". Whether you want to travel longer distances, explore beautiful places, travel more efficiently, or just have more awesome adventures: The Rise exceeds your expectations and sets a new standard for mountain bikes with electric motor.
The ideal bike for long tours thanks to Rider Synergy (RS) concept
With its trail geometry, the Rise is designed to feel at home on a wide variety of terrain without compromising performance. The RS concept combined with Shimano's EP8-Motor motor opens up a whole new riding experience as the fun of easy trail riding is enriched with smooth support that feels as natural as if it came directly from your own legs. So you experience great days on the trails.
Modular customisable battery
The low weight, lower energy consumption and the support that adapts to your power input while riding, increases the battery range by more than 50%. For example, a 540-watt-hour battery in the Rise is comparable to an 810-watt-hour battery in a conventional e-bike. If you're only going on short trips the 360-watt-hours battery pack might be enough, and you can always retrofit this with the range-extender if you want to go further.
An advanced and lightweight aluminum frame
Thanks to innovative hydroforming technology and triple-butted tubes, Orbea has reduced weight while increasing stability in high-stress areas of the frame. The highly polished aluminum frame of the Rise is extremely robust and looks just like the carbon version. If you have a crash and brake the derailleur hanger it takes just a moment to replace it by hand.
Slim and customizable
In contrast to conventional e-bikes, which are cluttered with displays, sensors, additional cables, and large switches and buttons, Orbea places a lot of emphasis on keeping the Rise looking like a regular bike - a central philosophy of the RS concept. With its RS motor, battery and electronic components, the Rise is half the weight of other e-bike systems. It also features fewer components, which reduces maintenance and also saves weight.
Optimised chassis for demanding trails
The progressive chassis, together with the anti-squat properties of the main pivot, allows efficient propulsion instead of wasting energy. With its high breakaway torque, the chassis offers an active driving feel and excellent traction. Even with big hits on rocky trails, the bike always remains planted thanks to the progressive spring curve. By shifting the center of rotation to the rear wheel axle and the use of a high-quality rear hub and thru axle, the Rise offers you a solid combination of stiffness and stability. Overall, the Rise is one of the lightest E-MTBs in its class.

Range
Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
