Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them
The Ortler Bolzano women's model with wave frame and Bosch Active Plus 400 electric drive and 9-speed derailleur is a 28-inch trekking pedelec in a class of its own. The efficient 250 watt motor offers optimum power development and propulsion on the mountain "without ifs or buts". 80 % recharged in just under 2.5 hours, thanks to modern E-Power, even long distances and demanding tours with many metres of altitude can be covered.
The Ortler Bolzano has the latest generation of Bosch e-bike drives and is equipped with the most powerful 400 watt hour battery from Bosch. The intensity of the pedal force support can be freely selected in four stages and thus the range of the pedelec can be influenced by the rider to the nearest kilometer.
Durably equipped with solid Shimano Acera drive technology and a sensitively appealing Suntour suspension fork, the Ortler Bozen leaves nothing to be desired. LED lighting and smooth-running Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres round off the perfect e-bike: Ortler Bozen Bosch Pedelec - intelligent pedelec technology "Made in Germany".
The Bosch drive: "Electronic intelligence for superior driver support" - that's what the BOSCH system says. The perfect symbiosis of drive unit, battery and easy-to-use display turns a conventional bicycle into an intelligent, powerful e-bike. A BOSCH electric bike can be driven like any other bicycle, with support depending on pedal pressure. According to the efficient minimum principle, the motor switches itself off automatically as soon as the rider stops pedalling. Sensors for speed, pedalling force and cadence optimally adjust the engine support to the individual driving behaviour.
Due to the low weight of all components and the low mounting of the drive, the Bosch e-bike has an optimal weight distribution, so that even inclines and more demanding stages can be easily pedaled.

Range
Can I get 50 miles from one battery charge or even 120? For those interested in buying an e-bike, this is a very important question. Manufacturers try to be as realistic as they can about possible ranges your e-bike may manage on one complete battery charge. In practice, however, the maximum range depends on many different factors. As well as the type of motor you have, factors include the energy content (400 or 500 Wh), handling and age of the battery. However, the rider's weight, sitting position, riding style (starting frequency, cadence) and selected support levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) all greatly influence the range. Last but not least, the track profile (uphill or flat), the ground (road or terrain), wind (headwind, tailwind) and even tyre profile effect distances possible. This makes it extremely difficult to provide precise and reliable information.
