These were the targets for developing the new ALDHU Carbon cranks. The most loyal fans of the Rotor brand had been demanding a carbon crankset for years. ROTOR accepted the challenge with a single goal: Rotor had to improve in all aspects what had manufactured to date.

LIGHTER AND STIFFER
We all know that the introduction of disc brakes to road cycling has increased the weight of bicycles. Rotors goal was to reduce some of the weight increase, but without sacrificing the stiffness of Rotors cranks.

The result? Crank arms that are 100 grams lighter than the ALDHU aluminum model, leaving the total weight at only 523.5 grams (172.5 mm & 50/34t DM chainrings). At the same time, Rotor managed to increase its absolute vertical and horizontal stiffness by respectively 11% and 36.1%.

SETTINGS FOR EVERYONE
Never has a crankset – like the ALDHU Carbon crank- offered such wide configurations to meet the different preferences / needs of each individual cyclist. Combine the cranks arms with different types of spiders, chainrings and axles. Looking for a power meter? Then choose the INspider, or you can also add it in the future; this is the main advantage of the the modularity of ROTOR cranksets.

In short, a solution that will adapt to your needs without having to replace the complete set.

UPGRADE YOUR ROAD CRANKSET
If you are one of those who already enjoys one of Rotors ALDHU or VEGAST cranksets, their modularity will allow you to upgrade them to ALDHU Carbon in a very simple way. You will only need to purchase the ALDHU Carbon crank arms, since the rest of the components are compatible with Rotors current range of ROTOR road cranksets.

A 10 mm Allen wrench and easy installation will make this upgrade a very simple task that will only take 1-2 minutes.
