Their molecular semi-rigid properties ensure unique light management and unparalleled eye protection from the sun's rays and atmospheric elements. Dimming from low to high light transmission in seconds and reaching a user-defined color from an initial clear state, ImpactX indestructible lenses enhance contrast, improve visual acuity and depth perception. ImpactX lenses are 16% lighter than CR-39 material and 10% lighter than polycarbonate; they have lower internal stress and chromatic dispersion than commonly used polycarbonate, resulting in sharper images, higher resolution, less "rainbowing" and greater visual comfort.

Self-tinting lenses, technically known as photochromic lenses, allow the material to react to the changing UV radiation. If more UV radiation hits the lenses, they become tinted and vice versa. The speed at which this happens is only a few seconds. Due to the self-tinting lenses, there is no need to change the lenses. Your glasses adapt to the prevailing light conditions. Especially during sports this can be very advantageous. In addition, phthotchromatic lenses offer very good UV protection for the eyes. The gradations in the degree of tint of the lenses are fluid.
