trail running shoes
Trail running shoes - for off-road runners
If you want to run off-road in autumn, or prefer less-well-trodden paths in the woods and mountains, you should consider special trail running shoes. The most obvious difference between trail running shoes and normal running shoes is the distinctly profiled, grippy sole. This gives you far greater grip on loose ground when running both uphill and downhill. Furthermore, trail running shoes usually have a more robust upper and a more stable toe cap for protection against branches, stones or thorns. If you run both on the tarmac and moderate off-road terrain, take a closer look at so-called hybrid models with a less-profiled sole.
